Blessed
is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |

his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate
day and night. |

he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth
forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |

The
ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth
away. |
| 5.
|
Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the
congregation of the righteous. |
| 6.
|
For
the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly
shall perish. |

will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which gives
its fruit at the right time, whose leaves will ever be green; and
he will do well in all his undertakings.
|
| 4.
|
The
evil-doers are not so; but are like the dust from the grain, which
the wind takes away.
|
| 5.
|
For
this cause there will be no mercy for sinners when they are judged,
and the evil-doers will have no place among the upright,
|
| 6.
|
Because
the Lord sees the way of the upright, but the end of the sinner
is destruction.
|
|
| 1.
|
O
the happiness of that one, who Hath not walked in the counsel of
the wicked. And in the way of sinners hath not stood, And in the
seat of scorners hath not sat;
|
| 2.
|
But
-- in the law of Jehovah is his delight, And in His law he
doth meditate by day and by night:
|
| 3.
|
And
he hath been as a tree, Planted by rivulets of water, That giveth
its fruit in its season, And its leaf doth not wither, And all that
he doth he causeth to prosper.
|
| 4.
|
Not
so the wicked: But -- as chaff that wind driveth away!
|
| 5.
|
Therefore
the wicked rise not in judgment, Nor sinners in the company of the
righteous,
|
| 6.
|
For
Jehovah is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the
wicked is lost!
|

his will is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he shall meditate

which shall bring forth its fruit, in due season. And his leaf shall
not fall off: and all whosoever he shall do shall prosper.

| 4.
|
Not
so the wicked, not so: but like the dust, which the wind driveth
from the face of the earth.
|
| 5.
|
Therefore
the wicked shall not rise again in judgment: nor sinners in the
council of the just.
|
| 6.
|
For
the Lord knoweth the way of the just: and the way of the wicked
shall perish.
